Lost City (Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia)

A rare chance to visit the elusive indigenous tribes of the Sierra Nevada near the Carribbean coast and share their ancient ways.
As we will be trekking through dense rain forests for a total of 50 kilometers over a period of six days, fording many rivers along the way, a good level of fitness is required.
Duration: one week. Saturday, August 28 to Saturday Sept 4.
All participants shall meet in Santa Marta (City in the Colombian Caribbean Coast) during the course of Saturday, August 28 as on Sunday pilgrimage leaves from Taganga at 8 am – 6 day trek returning on Friday Sept 3 around 5 pm – stay overnight in Santa Marta . Pilgrimage ends on Saturday, Sept 4 after breakfast.

$ 675 for North Americans and Europeans
This fare includes: • Hotel in Santa Marta on Saturday August 28 +1 meal. • Hotel in Santa Marta on Friday Sept 3 + meal. • One week trek lodging in hammocks plus 3 meals a day. • Mules carrying backpacks during 4 days (there are two days where mules are not allowed to go up so each participant must carry their backpack).
We will have 2 arhuaco indigenous accompanying us along the trek to Lost City.
