| Gurudev Paramahamsa Hariharananda’s divine love reveals itself in many ways. One of his manifestations is as motherly love, as can be seen in the forest near Haridwar, in a large center built by his beloved disciple, Yogi Sarveshwarananda Giri, with the help of his close friend, Swami Sharad Puri. They named the center Matri Chhaya (“Mother’s Grace”) as a reminder that this place has been created as a loving home for orphans, abandoned widows, and old people without resources.
